A free, offline-first school fees system for Windows: receipts, invoices, debtors, daily cash, fund tracking, and support for more than one currency (e.g. USD and ZiG). Runs on one PC in the school office; every other computer just opens it in a browser.
No source code is published here — this repository exists only to host the installer download, below.
See the latest release for the current version of
WeseKwese-Setup.exe.
Run the installer on the PC that will act as your server (an administrator prompt is needed). Windows will show an “Unknown publisher” warning since the installer isn’t code-signed yet — choose More info -> Run anyway. This is expected for a small independent app, not a sign of a problem.
The installer walks you through the port, time zone, backup folder, and database choice, then opens your browser on a first-run page to create the first Admin account.
Already have it installed? Run the newer Setup.exe over the top to upgrade — it detects the existing install, shows a page confirming your settings will be kept unchanged, and skips the setup questions. Your data is kept and a backup is taken automatically first.
The full User Manual covers everything from installing it through day-to-day use, multi-currency, backups, and troubleshooting. Read it online or download the file above and open it in any browser.
Wese~Kwese is free for a school with 30 active students or fewer, for as long as it’s used. A bigger school gets a free 3-month trial, after which it needs a license key to keep going — contact us below to get one. It is not free to resell, rebrand, or redistribute as your own product — see TERMS.md for the full terms. If you were charged for this software by anyone other than the Wese~Kwese team, or given a copy from somewhere other than this repository, please contact us to confirm it’s genuine.
