Wese~Kwese is provided free of charge to schools, by the Wese~Kwese team (wesekwese@gmail.com · +263 77 314 1598).

You may

• Install and use it at your school, for as many students, terms and users as you like, at no cost.
• Export your own data and take your own backups at any time — what you enter belongs to your school, not to us.
• Stop using it whenever you like, with no obligation to us.

You may not, without our written permission

• Resell it, charge another school for it, or offer it as a paid service.
• Rebrand it, present it as your own product, or remove the Wese~Kwese name and this notice from it.
• Redistribute a modified copy of it while presenting it as the official version.

Ownership

Wese~Kwese, including its source code, design and documentation, is © 2026 the Wese~Kwese team. All rights are reserved except for the free use described above.

No warranty

Wese~Kwese is provided “as is,” with no guarantee it is free of faults. Keep your own backups — we are not liable for data lost, or income lost, through its use.

Official source

The only official place to download Wese~Kwese is this repository’s releases page, or directly from us. If you were given a copy from anywhere else, or asked to pay someone other than us for it, please get in touch to confirm it is genuine.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version installed on your computer (linked as “Terms of use” in the footer of every page) is the one that applies to you, unless we tell you otherwise.
